What we can look forward to this SS11

So I've been doing a little research on what we can expect from the trends for this spring summer. I know it is still freezing outside and with the talk of snow on the way I thought about time we can start thinking what we want to wear this coming season to cheer ourselves up out of this gloom.

In vintage terms the 60s and 70s still look prominent on the catwalks with floaty skirts and dresses like these from Salvatore Ferragamos collection. With the added headscarves and waist belts these look sophisticated and ideal for those lazy summer days.

Neon and bright colours are across the catwalks paying homage to the 60s. Especially from the Christopher Kane collection. The 60s influenced patterned fabric adds depth and detail to an otherwise plain looking outfit, and that fantastic colour will brighten anyones day!

I love the argyle cardigans and jumpers, which are used across the collection. I have one very similar for sale in my store now! Check it out before it goes!

Skirts are going calf length, like this one from Fendi, but the maxis and minis are still there. Be sure to get these floaty in bright colours for a high fashion look.

The Fendi show is also prominent with bright colours and a real 70s feel.

Also look out for strips in bright colours, such as these from Prada.

So, think bold, think bright and get in that 70s mood, because its all heading your way this Spring Summer.
I will be sourcing pieces for these trends and will give you updates on my finds and tips on how to wear them.

As always, keep checking my store as new things are added all the time!

Much Love
Becky Boo Vintage
